Tahquitz Falls (Palm Springs)

Tahquitz Falls is a 60-foot waterfall on Tahquitz Creek in Riverside County. The waterfall is located in Tahquitz Canyon on the reservation of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.

Directions:


From Palm Springs, head south on CA-111B/Palm Canyon Drive for about 2 miles and turn right on Mesquite Avenue. Drive about a half-mile to the parking area that is just past the Tahquitz Canyon visitor center. There is an admission fee to enter, $12.50 per person as of 2019.

Hike Description:


After paying admission, pick up the Tahquitz Canyon Trail behind the visitor center.  The trail follows Tahquitz Creek upstream through the canyon.


The trail ends at the base of the waterfall.
