Robbers Cave State Park

Robbers Cave State Park is a 8,400-acre Oklahoma State Park in the eastern part of the state in the Sans Bois Mountains.  The park's namesake is a remote cave that may have been used by outlaws, though no documented evidence exists.  In the early 20th century, the area became a camp and the Civilian Conservation Corps developed facilities, becoming a state park in 1935.  Today, the park has numerous campgrounds and many miles of multi-use trails through the wooded hills.
