Reynolda House and Gardens

The Reynolda House and Gardens is a museum and gardens at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem.  Originally part of the estate of tobacco magnate R. J. Reynolds in the early 20th century, much of the estate was sold or given away.  In the late 1950s, the Reynolda Gardens were established through donation to the university.  Today, the house is a museum of American Art and the grounds include formal gardens as well as meadows and woodlands.
