Directions:
To visit the falls, head west from Ottawa on IL-71 for about 6 miles and turn left into the small parking area on the left.

Hike Description:
From the parking area, pick up the trail heading east. In about a quarter-mile, the trail passes by Council Overhang and another trail to left turns into the canyons. Stay on the main trail heading east along bluffs above Illinois River. In just under a mile, the trail passes the rim of Hennepin Canyon then at 1.5 miles, crosses the top of Owl Canyon and descends down to the river. Follow the canyon up to see the waterfall.
