Otter Falls Trail (Seven Devils)

Directions:


From Boone, head south on NC-105.  At 9.8 miles from US-321, turn right on Seven Devils Road. Drive 1.3 miles and turn left on Skyland Drive (there's a sign for Otter Falls at the turn). In three-quarters of a mile, the parking area will be on the left.

Trails:


Blue Trail:


Blue Trail makes a loop from Red Trail providing a connector to Orange and Yellow Trails.


Orange Trail:


Orange Trail splits from Blue Trail and leads down to Otter Falls, making a short loop along Valley Creek.


Red Trail:


Red Trail starts from the parking lot on Skyland Drive and makes a short loop, connecting to Blue Trail at the far end.

Yellow Trail:


Yellow Trail splits from Blue Trail and leads under 0.1 miles to an overlook above Valley Creek.


Waterfall:


Otter Falls is the highlight of the park, a scenic 15-foot waterfall on Valley Creek.
