Hike Description:

From the parking area, pick up the obvious trail that leads to the waterfall in just under a mile.  Another old road intersects the trail, but just stay straight.  The trail ends at a nice observation point with a head on view of the waterfall.

It's pretty easy up this point, but if you want to get to the base, it becomes much more difficult.  Continue past the viewpoints a hundred feet or so and you should see an obvious but very steep scramble path that leads down to the creek.  There's plenty of roots to hold on to while climbing down.  Once down at the creek, head upstream on river left to the base of the lowest drop.

Climb up along the two lower drops to edge of the pool at the base of the main drop.  Going any further requires swimming.  This is an excellent and popular swim hole when the weather is nice.
