Mother Walker Falls (Grafton Notch)

Mother Walker Falls is a small waterfall through a narrow gorge on Bear River in Oxford County, Maine.  The waterfall is located in Grafton Notch State Park.

Directions:


From Bethel, head east on US-2 for about 6 miles and left on ME-26 north. Drive 10.6 miles and turn right into the parking area for Mother Walker Falls.  Note that there is a per person fee to access the park.

Hike Description:


From the parking area, follow the short trail into the woods and to Mother Walker Falls Gorge.  There are some small cascades and drops in the gorge, it's not really a waterfall.
