The Little River Regional Park & Natural Area is located just north of Durham County off NC-157 (Guess Road). The park is a cooperative partnership between Durham and Orange Counties, with park management performed by Orange County. Additionally, the park has received assistance and funding from the Eno River Association, Triangle Land Conservancy and other organizations and was opened in December 2004.

From I-85 in Durham, take exit 175 for Guess Road and go north for about 11 miles. The park will be on the right.Map:
Trails:
Bird Trail:
Bird Trail is a half-mile trail running from the entrance road to the restrooms and is a good trail for birding.
Homestead Trail:
Homestead Trail is a 0.2-mile trail that bisects the North River Loop.
Mountain Bike Trails:
There are about 6 miles of single-track mountain bike trails forming a beginner, intermediate and advanced loop. The bike trails are accessed from the either side of the parking. No bikes are permitted on other trails or roads in the park.
North River Loop:
North River Loop is a 1.2 mile loop starting from the far end of Ridge Trail that follows North Fork Little River for a short ways.
Ridge Trail:
Ridge Trail follows a ridge along the length of the property, providing access to North and South River Loop Trails.
South River Loop:
South River Loop starts from the south end of Ridge Trail and makes a 1.4-mile loop running along North Fork Little River.
