Little Niagara Falls (Chickasaw)

Little Niagara Falls is small waterfall in two sections on Travertine Creek in Murray County, Oklahoma.  The waterfall is located in Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

Directions:


From Sulphur, head south on US-177 into Chickasaw National Recreation Area and turn left on Perimeter Drive.  Go about 1 mile where it becomes a one-way loop and go right and cross a low water bridge.  In another 0.3 miles, bear left into the parking for Little Niagara Falls.

Hike Description:


From the parking area, follow any of the obvious paths a couple hundred feet to the waterfall.


There is an upper and a lower section, both about 5 feet high.


The pool between the two sections makes a popular swim hole when the weather is warm.
