Letchworth State Park

Letchworth State Park is a 14,000-acre New York State Park in Wyoming and Livingston County.  The highlight of the park is the Genesee River, the "Grand Canyon of the East" as it flows down several significant waterfalls through a deep gorge through the park.  The park is named for William Pryor Letchworth, who bequeathed the land to state upon his death.  Today, the park has more than 60 miles of hiking trails, campgrounds, lodging, water activities and even hot air balloon rides.
