Kanawha Falls is a 20-foot waterfall on Kanawha River in Fayette County, West Virginia.  The waterfalls is located in Kanawha Falls Public Fishing Area.

Directions:

From Fayetteville, head north on WV-16 for about 9 miles to US-60.  Turn left on US-60 west and drive 6.4 miles to the parking area for Kanawha Falls Public Fishing Area on the left.

Hike Description:

The waterfall is visible from the parking area or there is a path to get a little closer.  The only option to get up close is from a boat.
