Jordan Lake Seaforth Day Use Access

Seaforth Day Use Access is one of several access areas that make up Jordan Lake State Recreation Area.  Located off south of US-64 along the causeway over the lake, Seaforth features picnic areas, short hiking trails, a swim beach and a boat ramp.  As a day use area, there is no camping, but it is open year round.  An entrance fee is charged daily in the summer and on weekends in the shoulder season; no fee is charged to enter in the winter.

Seaforth Day Use Access is just south of US-64 and west of the causeway over the lake.  From Apex, head west on US-64 for about 11 miles and turn left into the access area immediately after crossing over the lake.

Pond Trail:

Length: 1.4 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Blaze: Red

Pond Trail makes a partial loop from the north end of the beach area parking lot and looping around to the other side.  It passes several old farm ponds along.  A spur leads to the boat ramp parking.  This is the park's Track Trail.
