Housatonic Meadows State Park

Housatonic Meadows State Park is a 452-acre Connecticut State Park in Litchfield County.  The park protects an area of Housatonic River Valley in Sharon and Cornwell, surrounded by Housatonic State Forest.  The state park was established in 1927.  The park features a 61-site campground, opportunities for fly fishing in the river, and several miles of hiking trails, including a section of the Appalachian Trail.
