Hayden Falls (Columbus)

Hayden Falls is a 25-foot seasonal waterfall on Hayden Run in Franklin County.  The waterfall is located in Hayden Falls Park, a City of Columbus park.

Directions:


From Columbus, head west on I-70 for about 6 miles and take exit 93 for I-270 north.  Drive 6.9 miles and take exit 15 for Tuttle Crossing Boulevard.  Bear left and follow Tuttle Crossing for 0.6 miles then turn right onto Frantz Road.  Go 1 mile and turn left onto Hayden Run Road.  A parking area for the parking is on the right in 0.2 miles, just before the bridge over Scioto River.

Trail Description:


A stairway descends from the parking lot down into the gorge and a boardwalk trail heads upstream a short ways to a viewing deck for the falls.  The waterfall is seasonal so can dry up completely.
