Eggleston Falls (Marrowbone Creek)

Eggleston Falls, or Fishers Dam, is a dam waterfall on Marrowbone Creek, a tributary of Smith River in Henry County, Virginia.  The waterfall is located in Henry County.

Directions:


From Martinsville, head south on US-220 south for about 4.5 miles and turn left on Old Sand Road.  In 0.6 miles, turn left on Eggleston Falls Road and then right to stay on Eggleston Falls Road.  Drive a total of 2.1 miles and turn right into the Marrowbone Creek River Access for Smith River.

Hike Description:


Hike up the gated road for 0.1 miles to the waterfall.  Although artificial, it's rather scenic and I thought it was worth the short hike.
