Crisp Point Lighthouse is located on Michigan's Upper Peninsula in Luce County on the Lake Superior shore. A lighthouse at this location was first proposed in 1896 and approved in 1902. Crisp Point is named for Christopher Crisp, one of the lifesaving station keepers described as an iron-willed boatman. The lighthouse tower is 58 feet high and was in use from 1904 to 1992. In 1997, the property was purchased by Luce County and leased to the Crisp Point Historical Society for operations.
