Colonel Bob Wilderness

Colonel Bob Wilderness is a 11,851-acre Wilderness Area in Olympic National Forest in Grays Harbor and Jefferson County, Washington.  The wilderness is located in the southwestern part of the forest near Lake Quinault.  The area protects temperate rainforest surrounding the 4,492-foot Colonel Bob Mountain, second highest point in the wilderness.  Several trails access the wilderness from South Shore Road.

Fletcher Canyon Trail starts from a trailhead along South Shore Road and enters the wilderness.
