Cliff Branch Falls (GSMNP)

Cliff Branch Falls is a roadside waterfall on its namesake in Swain County, North Carolina.  The waterfall is located in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Directions:


From Cherokee, head north on US-441 for about 10 miles to a pull-off on the right.  The pull-off is 3.3 miles past the turn for Smokemont Campground.

Hike Description:


The waterfall is directly across the street from the parking area.  Use caution crossing the road for a view.  The stream is small, so try to visit after a good rain.


It's not really worth a special trip, but makes a nice short stop if passing by when the water is up.
