Claytor Lake State Park

Claytor Lake State Park, nestled in Pulaski County, Virginia, is a 472-acre gem along the 4,500-acre, 21-mile-long Claytor Lake, formed by the Claytor Dam on the New River. Renowned for its scenic beauty and diverse recreational offerings, the State Park features a sandy beach for swimming, a full-service marina for boating and fishing, and seven miles of easy-to-moderate hiking and biking trails through oak-hickory-poplar forests.
