From the parking area, walk northwest on Ute Pass Road (away from the lake). In 0.2 miles, bear left on Belvedere and follow this road for 1 mile to the Catamount Trailhead. There's a small waterfall on Catamount Creek here.
Follow Catamount Trail up for 0.1 miles and cross the creek to get on Thomas Trail. In a few hundred feet, a spur leads to the waterfall. The lighting was poor when we visited.
