Caddo National Grassland

Caddo National Grassland is a 17,785 National Grassland in two sections in Fannin County, northeast of Dallas, Texas.  The Ladonia Unit is to the south and the Bois d'Arc Unit is to the north.  The grassland contains three lakes - Coffee Mill Lake, Lake Crockett and Lake Fannin.  The lakes have boat ramps as well as campgrounds and access to multi-use trails open to hiking, biking and horseback riding.  The grassland is managed with the LBJ National Grassland from offices in Decatur.

Trail 2 makes a 3.6-mile loop, starting from the campground and day-use trailhead, running past Coffee Mill Lake.
