Buckhorn Game Land is a 460-acre North Carolina Game Land in western Orange County. The area protects rolling Piedmont hills in the Turkey Hill Creek drainage. The land is owned by Orange County Water and Sewer Authority and leased to the state as game land. Hunting on the tract is limited to permitted archery hunting only. When permitted hunts are not occurring, the area is open to the public for hiking and wildlife viewing. There are no official trails but several miles of old fire roads wind throughout the area.
