Bear Falls (Chickasaw)

Bear Falls is a small waterfall in two sections on Travertine Creek in Murray County, Oklahoma.  The waterfall is located in Chickasaw National Recreation Area.

Directions:


From Sulphur, head south on US-177 into Chickasaw National Recreation Area and turn left on Perimeter Drive.  Go about 0.9 miles and bear right into the parking area for Bear Falls.

Hike Description:


The parking area is right at the smaller upper section.


The larger lower section is just downstream.


The waterfall can also be accessed from the other side via Travertine Creek Trail.
