Babcock State Park

Babcock State Park, nestled in the heart of West Virginia’s Fayette County, is a 4,127-acre haven of natural beauty and historical charm. Renowned for its iconic Glade Creek Grist Mill, one of the most photographed landmarks in the state, the State Park offers visitors a picturesque blend of cascading streams, dense forests, and rugged cliffs. Established in 1934, it features over 20 miles of hiking trails, including the scenic Manns Creek Gorge and Skyline Trail, catering to adventurers of all skill levels. Directions:


From Fayetteville, head north on US-19 for about 7 miles and bear right for US-60.  Turn left on US-60 east and go 9.5 miles then turn right on WV-41 south.  Go 3.7 miles and turn right to enter the park.
